The mission of the
Scottish Bible Society is to provide God's Word to
all people,
in a language they can understand,
in a format they can use,
and at a price they can afford.
The Society distributes Bibles, New Testaments and
other Scripture-based materials, in a range of
media, in Scotland and throughout the world.
Working with the churches, Scripture Union
aims to make God's news known to children, young
people and families and to encourage people of all
ages to meet God daily through the Bible and prayer.

Our Minister
We have a new minister!!
His name is Rev. John Vischer
(pronounced 'Fisher'). He was the minister in the Church of Scotland in
Saddell/Carradale linked with Skipness, Presbytery of Argyll and Bute.
He is married to Elizabeth and
has a young family of four children.
John was educated in various
institutes in Switzerland whilst his late father was the minister in the
Swiss Reformed Church in Zurich.
After school John studied
theology in Zurich, Basel and Edinburgh.
The induction service is to
take place on Wednesday 4th May 2011 at 7:00 pm. Please make every
effort to attend this very important service in the life of the joint
charges of Garvald and Morham linked with Haddington West Church. |
