Voices from the Edge – your invitation to the Scottish premiere

As the final event in Poverty & Homelessness Action Week, we invite you to attend the performance of Voices from the Edge at the Traverse Theatre, Cambridge Street, Edinburgh, at 6.00 pm on Sunday 8 February 2009.

Voices from the Edge was commissioned for the action week 2009, and is researched and performed by the acclaimed theatre company Actors for Human Rights.  It brings the stories of people with direct experience of poverty and homelessness powerfully to life, using their own words as told to devisor and director Christine Bacon.  This is one of 10 performances taking place throughout the UK during the week.  Following the performance, there will be discussion of the challenges raised by these stories, particularly at a time of recession.
