The Guild

West Church, Haddington Guild (formed in 1932) meets every second Tuesday from October until March. It is affiliated to all other Church of Scotland Guilds.

The aim of the Guild is to ‘invite and encourage women to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and to enable them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action’.

The Guild welcomes women of all ages as members. It supports the work of all committees of the Church of Scotland by giving money to various projects each year, as well as supporting the financial well-being of their own church. 

Speakers at Guild meetings cover church related / religious topics, travel, crafts, the work of different charities etc. The Guild also has social and fund-raising activities.

Unless otherwise stated all meetings take place in the West Church Hall at 7:30 p.m.
