The Friendship Hour The Friendship Hour is a series of meetings intended for senior citizens. They run from October through to May each year on alternate Thursdays at 2:00p.m. in Haddington West Church Hall. The meetings usually cover a range of interesting subjects which takes the form of a talk, a slide show or a film on various subjects from herbal medicine, the work of the Red Cross, Archaeology, holiday slides or they can consist of a general knowledge quiz to a (Robert) "Burns" afternoon. These afternoons are always worthwhile and are very much appreciated as they are times for all who attend to meet simply as friends.
